◎ Is your place a so-called “dormitory” (two or more strangers stay in the same room) ?
No, we never have more than two strangers stay in the same room. Our place is a western-style tourist home with clean rooms like a hotel and home-like atmosphere.
◎ What time can I check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. (Early check-in around noon is possible if you inform us in advance.)
Check-out time is 10:30 a.m.
◎ Do you have a curfew?
No, we don’t, but we lock the front door at 11:00 p.m. for a security reason. Please inform us if you come back after 11:00 p.m. so that we can show you the secret entrance to our place.
◎ What kind of dishes do you serve for dinner?
We serve home-cooking dishes mainly using Okinawan ingredients on a day-by-day rotating basis.
◎ Is dinner time fixed?
Any time between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Please come down to the 1st floor dining-hall at your convenience.
◎ Until what time is hot water available in the bathroom?
It is available around the clock.
◎ Can I ask you to keep my baggage?
We can keep your baggage any time. You can send your large baggage to us before your arrival. We will put it in your room on the day of your arrival.
◎ How large is the room?
A single room is 15.84 ㎡ (9.5 tatami mats), larger than that of a regular business hotel.
A twin room is quite large with the floor area of 28.75 ㎡ (17 tatami mats).
◎ Isn’t it noisy at night?
Despite being located in the city center, our place is in the quiet environment where you can hear birds singing in the morning. Noises on the busy Kokusai Street at night never reach here. Sound in the 1st floor dining-hall never reaches the guest rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
◎ Can I lock the room?
Yes, all the rooms can be locked and unlocked.
When you check-in, we hand you the key with a key chain.
◎ Are there any convenient shops nearby?
・Family Mart (2-minute walk) – A convenience store is really “convenient”.
・Okinawa Rent-a-bike (1-minute walk) – You can rent a motorcycle at a reasonable price.
・”Hotto Motto” Bento Shop (1-minute walk) – They also have Okinawan lunch boxes.
・”Yuna” Bento Shop – (2-minute walk) – Okinawan box lunch is cheap and delicious.
The \250 size will fill a lady’s stomach. The taste is mild and good for your health.
・”Mikasa” restaurant (4-minute walk) – Everyone in Naha City knows this restaurant. It’s open for 24 hours, serving a variety of Okinawan dishes.
・Lunch box stands at the Kumoji intersection (5-minute bicycle ride) – These stands appear during lunch time on week days. You will be amazed at the variety and low prices. They also appeared in a TV program.
・Wakasa Community Hall (5-minute bicycle ride) – For people who want to read books leisurely. It’s close to "Wakasa Seaside Park".
・Restaurant “Yamamoto Ayaka” (3-minute walk) – High-end Okinawan cuisine restaurant catering to celebrities in Naha.
・Supermarket “Kanehide” (6-minute walk) – The cheapest supermarket in Okinawa! They also have local specialties.
・Liquor shop “Arutekku” (5-minute walk) – The cheapest liquor shop in Okinawa! They have a wide variety of “awamori” and snacks.
・Okinawan noodle shop “Kamekame Soba” – Okinawan noodles they serve here are truly superb! It’s only \400, but it tastes much better than a \700 one of other shops.
・Massage shop “Sankei” (1-minute walk) – The massage practitioner “Tsuyako” is a specialist in manipulative treatment. You can receive a thorough massage by paying \4,500 for 45 minutes. (“Master” had his 20-year-old persistent back pain gotten rid of by her.)
